The WAVX board reminds me of an investigative report where the reporter went on a job interview only to find out when he got there that it was multi-person interview and besides him there were 6 or 7 other people there. They were all lined up in a row along the wall and he was somewhere in the middle.

The "job creator" came out and started giving his spiel. The reporter thought it sounded a little like a multi-level marketing scheme. But as the guy went on the people around him started getting excited and agreed with the spokesperson. He felt like he should also be on board with the whole thing even though he knew it was a scam.

Turns out that he later found out that none of the other "interviewees" were real. They were all paid or in on the scam and were there to instill excitement and legitimacy on the operation. And, of course, normal people get caught up in it because they don't want to seem like the odd man out or not "getting it."

Edit: The offer was one where you had to buy a kit upfront and then sell product afterward. Of course, their whole model was on selling the kits.
