I am in the change camp.
But to have change occur is a tricky business.
It isn't going to happen by brow-beating awk and snackman. I've never known awk to change his mind when he feels he has been insulted. But I have found he is susceptible to reason. Which is not to say that he will surrender his idea of the architecture. But he knows the difference between Wave's TC architecture and the Sprague family.
The lever Wave investors have is their shares. If you want to persuade awk to change his mind, you have to find a way to persuade him that Wave will pursue its TC goal more effectively by other means than via SS.
That's your task.
Can awk sway snackman? Sure.
Can snackman move his followers? Appears so.
But 2012 was a win for the status quo. Again.
The change party remains a minority. But I think its force is gathering.
