The sale of a small bit of IP to Intel is good for stirring the pot of potential buyers of the whole of IDCC. If I were thinking of buying IDCC in the past I would certainly consider doing so know. This way the buyer would have control over what IP is sold and what is licensed. IDCC following through on their promise of selling groups of non-core IP is good to make the marketplace aware they can and will do it. I wouldn't be surprised if buyers come sniffing around again
