Speaking of math, I wonder if management wasn't hinting at a change in direction when it said that the 1700 patents sold to Intel were only about 18 months production from IDCC's patent machine. Assuming 100 new patents per month and only 50 needed for addition to the "core", this leaves 50 per month for sale. 600 patents per year sold for $220,000 each results in an extra $132,000,000 per annum. I see no reason why IDCC can't become a regular non-core patent seller. With this additional recurring revenue, the stock would soar. Now all we need is for management to step up to the plate.

IDCC [after intel payment ,after tax], will have 600myn dollars cash [after debt]....thats fourteen dollars per share...if idc takes 200myn buyback and buys 7 million shares at current prices...they will buy back 15% of their shares...and thus 15% of their remaining portfolio of approx 20,000 patents and apps [end of 2012]...that"s 3000 patents...so for 200 million we get 7myn x 14 dollars per share = 98myn + 3000 patents...I HOPE THIS IS BEGINNING TO SINK IN !!!!!
