The IDCC website does not have a 'search' function that, well, functions. So pulling up the exact language is problematic. Nonetheless, Spreadtrum refused to make subsequent payments and the agreement was nixed. Here is the reversal of the reserve due to the settlement:

Scott McQuilkin, Chief Financial Officer, commented, "We posted a very strong quarter, with an increase in royalty revenue combining with a decrease in our core operating expenses.... Our selling, general and administrative expenses also benefited from a $1.0 million credit associated with the reversal of an allowance for an uncollectible receivable.

InterDigital already licensed the 3G modem IP to Spreadtrum back in 2008ish, should we expect to receive revenue under this agreement based on the Samsung news?! Unless I missed another ammendment or expiration, I don't recall anything why we would not get revenue from this ...
