I just re-read the press releases. It said the 71 million includes the 9 million patent sale. Without this sale revenues would have been 62 million. Q1 revenue was 69 million so IDCC is showing almost a 10% drop in recurring revenue. Im assuming this is related to Apple and SAM taking marketshare away from HTC, Rimm and others. Im extremely happy with the patent sale and in validates my belief in the value of the patents and what I think IDCC is worth BUT I do think in the next 6 months IDCC needs to show us a renewal or new significant license to get the shareprice valued where we all belive it should be(at least north of 30 at a minimum) the patent sale is a great start and also gives credibility to mgmt as they stated 3-6 months since the SA ended they would have patent sales and they did it. THe next big event for me is the staff's opinion on the ITC case. If we can get the staff to side with IDCC on even 1 patent(Unlike Levi in the NOK case) I think BM is right in that those comapanies sign and not go to trial.
