That's a liberal p.o.v.

The right wing is scary to ME. But most Americans call themselves conservatives and aren't scared of the right. I don't think most Americans are aware of politics at all. They vote when they have to, and pull the trigger for whoever has the cutest butt, the right skin tone or, MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL, for whoever belongs to the same club that they do (Demopublican or Republicrat.)

Romney's VP choice could be critical. If he selects some Neocon Scumbag or Conservative Caveman, it will diminish his moderate credentials as he pushes Obama to the left to capture the center. The right-wing, with their goofy and radical notions, are still pretty scary to most Americans. Rubio is about the last candidate Romney should consider.
