the beauty/ironic thing is... say these weren't making any money for IDCC (say infrastructure patents) and now the big dog just woke up with a bone in it's mouth... and looking for meat...

these companies have to deal with an exponentially larger entity with expose flesh... shoulda just licensed with the flea and gained access to those babies before the splintering.

Of course not. And like you, I agree, the others had better wake up and come to the realization of the value the InterDigital portfolio.

What InterDigital sold to Intel were patents that they were not making any additional material money on. Non-core patents. That is what they said they would sell in January, and they confirmed today that these patents sold "won't hurt InterDigital's licensing program."
