...Im surprised there aren't more, and as far as some of the drones having the capability of being armed, almost every airplane in the military arsenal has the capability of being armed and they gotta put em somewhere. The missions? They don't got no steenking mission. They is just sittin there waiting for one.

Revealed: 64 Drone Bases on American Soil --22 locations planned for future bases 13 Jun 2012 There are 64 drone bases on American soil. That includes 12 locations housing Predator and Reaper unmanned aerial vehicles, which can be armed. Public Intelligence, a non-profit that advocates for free access to information, released a DoD Current and Future U.S. Drone Activities Map on Tuesday. Assembled from military sources - especially this little-known June 2011 Air Force presentation - it is arguably the most comprehensive map so far of the spread of the Pentagon's unmanned fleet. The exact missions performed at those locations, however, are not clear.
