...I have long believed that shouting "Police Warrant" does not constitute "identifying" yerself as a cop with a warrant cause anybody can say it and I am told that it is not uncommon for the home invasion industry to use just exactly that tactic.

...on the other hand if I was a cop in Indiana and ya called up telling me that someone had broke into your house and was upstairs having his way with the family pooch, I would write a report, take it to a judge and get a warrant to come on yer property. You and the pooch might have to hold on for a week or ten days. Would that be a problem???
