re: "New numbers from the swing state of Iowa show a toss-up ... The race is also a toss-up in Ohio, Virginia, Florida and Colorado."

A further indication of how dire the situation has become for the President: Of the states identified above as toss-ups, *ALL* went for Obummer in 2008.

Iowa and Colorado are small. But if Romney takes any two of the others, or Florida and ANY of the other four, he wins the election. And he's tied or slightly ahead in them all.

If he picks Rubio as his running mate, he'll have a lock on Florida.

Note that Obummer hasn't yet announced his running mate. He may throw Biden to the wolves. By now, he surely understands that the election is lost if he doesn't do something drastic.

The race is also a toss-up in Ohio, Virginia, Florida and Colorado. Romney leads in North Carolina and Missouri. Obama leads in Pennsylvania. New numbers from Wisconsin will be released at noon Eastern today.

Four years ago, after wrapping up the Democratic nomination, Obama led John McCain every single day during the month of June. His average lead was five percentage points. Obama eventually won by seven points. In the first 13 days of June for Election 2102, Romney has held the lead 10 times...
