For myself, I see him as a guy who dreams big dreams. Dreams are his comfort zone. At some point, you begin to think that the dreams are fantasies and reality doesn't appear in them. You want to shout at him "Wake up!" But then you realise in this dream, in a surreal way, sound waves don't travel. They just turn into glass and crash on the floor. Then you see that you are in a nightmare of circles, mirrors and infinities, like in a Borges short story. Scrambls appears in the story and you are told "the enterprise" is interested in this kind of product. And then suddenly you have a bizarre image of a middle-aged man playing with a starship. Without trust, information means nothing.
