Although I'm not at the machine, upping the fan speed to 90 percent seems to have solved the problem so the 680 should be good so far.

WOW!!!! I wish you and yours best of luck with getting your car fixed.

That is one nice thing about using the EVGA Precision Tool.

You can set the fan at whatever percentage you want it at. 60 percent usually is not enough when folding.

I keep mine at 80 or 85 percent.

I do hope that your GPU starts to fold for you.

You should have mail waiting on you when you get back home.
