Question: Which is a safer investment? Spain or Wave.

Answer: for the first time in history, I think the answer is Wave.

Not because it is safe. But an investor has less awful prospects than they would if they invested in Spain right now.

Hi dig,

Batton down the hatches. It may be about to get a lot worse. The Euro is getting very close to collapse. And whilst I have never been a fan of that currency experiment, I don't look forward to the fall-out from its demise.

10 year US Treasury bonds are the lowest they've been in 200 years, according to one source. That tells you that folks are getting very scared about preserving capital and they are hiding out in the safest assets money can buy.

Apparently, equivalent Italian and Spanish bond rates are now unsustainably high again. No European central bank with the powers to protect them. Possible abyss for them. Ain't we got fun.
