italics, or underline.
You use a bracket rather than the less than or greater than sign that you used in the post below.

of course - you can also just hit the "B" over under the smiley faces on the right of this screen to turn on the bold, then type what you want in bold, then hit the "B" again. Same works with the colors, bold, or others. Bob's also lets you
highlight text - but you
can't choose a different highlight color. You also can do a Pre format that makes your font smaller
