Seems this GPU at home was 2d clocking.
I looked at the log file and observed the frames per minute and then compared it to the same work unit previously. Three times longer. That isn't good.
I quit the work unit, rebooted the computer and restarted the GPU and it is back running normal again.
Another tell tale sign of 2d clocking is the GPU temperature. 2D clocking it was 48 degrees.
3D clocks it is 88 degrees and working.
I did not catch this earlier because I only looked to see if I had a log file and GPU folding was running.
Just goes to show I needed to look a little closer.
This work unit, 8010, which is 2510 points takes longer to do and doesn't give you the PPD you would like to see either. Hope we get through these so I can do something else.
Now I am wondering if my GPU folders at work are 2d clocking as well. Hard to say from here.
