dig, you write:

"...Indeed providing a client aspect, a bundled client aspect to any ARM device seems ultra-speculative..."

WOA requires a MTM. Samsung, rumors have it, will be one of a few OEMs coming to market first with Windows RT phones and tablets.

An MTM "behaves" just like a TPM, as a matter of fact, it is based on the TCGs TPM specifications with a few additional extensions needed in the mobile space. It needs to be managed - just like a TPM - and is cross compatible with the TPM.

But, yes, the "Samsung 8K" was just addressing TPMs.

Wasn't disagreeing. I was grateful that you provided the information.

Just trying to add something of my own re the 90%, though not sure if it remains true. If it is, then this seems like good news to me, insofar as Wave seems tuned into ARM, whereas there hasn't been much on the Intel side for some time.

I'm also not clear if we should expect to hear something from Samsung re Wave, in respect of ARM TZ units. Or whether that kind of development happens in a different place in the Trust Tree.
