For the client to communicate with the ERAS server or to locally manage trusted devices there needs to be a client software module. We've been talking about that for the past 9 years...

While in previous years it was called the ETS (Embassy Trust Suite) which contained the ESC (Embassy Security Center) the client software module now is the ESC,

That's what I was basing my thoughts on. It's more of a Samsung chip supplier deal, with the chips made available for Samsung's box makers if they wish to sell equipment with TPMs in it to the market.

It's step one (small royalty per chip), not step two. Step two (where the megabucks theoretically happen) may come but it isn't here.

Maybe ETS is supplanted by Windows 8?
