Hi dig,

But it isn't saying that a decision has been taken by the equipment making divisions to sell ETS and ERAS.

It is saying the TPM chip making division will provide Wave's embedded software in its TPMs IF the equipment making divisions decide to include a TPM in their specs. Wave will get paid a small royalty per chip by Samsung.

Wave has presumably completed its engineering work to make its software work with Samsung's chips. I don't think it gets paid for that.

I would agree were the case that Atml of Intc sold handsets or tablets where a complete solution is required. It reads 'on Samsung devices that include a TPM'. Intc doesn't sell peanuts in the way of assembled MoBos and in 2005-7 a variety of INTC, STM, BRCM, USG and Winbond were variably 10% customers ... all to get swept away by the box guy, in this case Dell. I read it more like Dell and less like BRCM (which provides the chip to Dell and for whom BRCM dropped off the 10% radar years ago). Whether Wav e still gets a penny for those from BRCM I do not know, but I read this like Dell and not like chip folks.
