INTC doesn't sell boxes, Samsubng does (like Dell). I've been looking forward to this and plan on modeling a curve rate as per the first Dell 8k. As Dell was the only fish then, the relationshi between the agreement and revs is pretty black and white. Samsung numbers would be obscured some before 10%

It's certainly a positive, but the usual lack of financial detail makes this similar to the infamous Intel PR and also perhaps the other TPM manufacturer PRs. The key facts about timing, volume and price remain obscure. Great news for visionaries who will presume the use of Wave's software in every Samsung device. More carotene for pragmatists, who will want to see something within the grasp of their financial modelling. Opportunity to make hay for the cynics who will insert whatever they like into the information void.

Watch it play out on these boards in the usual way.

If I were to guess, I would think this is one of the reasons for SKS' expectations of $50m+ in 2012. So this hasn't changed expectations for the top line. But it has given a portion of it a source.

If the first half yields something like $15-20m, then the second half would yield $30-35m+. Assuming no DoD contract this means the maximum plausible expectation deriving from this deal over 6 months is $15-20m. Assuming a DoD contract, I think it will be much less.
