Sure, easy, BAP already has the req'd flags/additional parameters and has been entering them properly, no change needed there. His latest posted problem is a back to basics one, the NVidia help desk has managed to bugger him up well enough that last I heard he was without a display or at least the gpu. I think we actually had the advanced problem beaten and were just getting bogged down by the problem I described and as evidenced in the log that was posted. I didn't even catch it my first trip through it. Oh, also I wondered this at the time when I was silently cursing the NVidia help desk, I wonder if they managed to get him the 64-bit version of 301.64. That's certainly how it would behave if they gave him the wrong one, and they've managed to do something dorkish. Then it slipped my mind and it sounded like BAP had had enough frustration already for one day or three.

We'll pick it back up again when BAP's ready, in the meantime I'm just keeping up-to-date with new posts on the topic, we're actually at the leading edge of something here (getting a 680 to at least under-perform as opposed to not perform at all) while we wait for the esteemed programmers.

I think we need to get BAP's drivers cleared out totally, and install the latest nVidia driver, 301.45 only without all the other stuff.

We need a CLEAN install so you guys can help him with that.

Mark, he is having trouble with windows 7x64. Can you keep an eye on that for me? You are far better with that than me.

ArVee, please find the flags he will will use and post them so he has the correct flag to install and try.

I have no idea what to expect from that force pu ferni flag but it might be worth trying. I just do ot remember the correct spelling for it.

That would be great if you could do that for me.

I have to go get mrs. m on her feet out of bed and to the restroom right now.
