Thanks Mark and ArVee!

I think we need to get BAP's drivers cleared out totally, and install the latest nVidia driver, 301.45 only without all the other stuff.

We need a CLEAN install so you guys can help him with that.

Mark, he is having trouble with windows 7x64. Can you keep an eye on that for me? You are far better with that than me.

ArVee, please find the flags he will will use and post them so he has the correct flag to install and try.

I have no idea what to expect from that force pu ferni flag but it might be worth trying. I just do ot remember the correct spelling for it.

That would be great if you could do that for me.

I have to go get mrs. m on her feet out of bed and to the restroom right now.

Thanks,

micro...

Micro, I had no idea about Mrs. M, very glad to hear it went well! New knee? As in a replacement? Yikes, again, no idea and just glad she's been released and the outlook's good. Wow!

Agree with everything you said re the flags, and when you get a minute go back and slog thru what I've suggested. He needs that flag and -betateam on v6 to rock & roll and in fact has already used them. He almost gets there but has leftover stuff from the bad read from a previous try that renders useless what's probably going to be a good install because it first tries to run the old WU. You'll see the misidentify at the front of the log, then a subsequent proper id that gets hosed by the leftover garbage it tries to run instead.

BAP, you're still doing well on this despite the frustration level, when you're ready to go at it again pick it up where we left it and I think we'll get it, especially with Micro's fine eye now with us when he's free.

Micro, my best wishes to Mrs. M. for a speedy recovery.
