You do realize that Bush and the boys were fighting a war they did not start to protect any further attacks on U.S. soil by a mad man that Clinton could have had taken care of years earlier and did not. That costs tremendous amounts of money.

You ever hear of the BUBBLE COLLAPSE? That was from the Clinton administration so yes sir, he inherited a very dismal economy and made worse by an attack that cost over 3,000 American citizen lives which could have possibly been prevented by the previous President and was not.

The point being Obama did not get handed a worse economy than Bush got from CLinton and Barney Frank and Chris Dodd should be tried for their parts in the scandals at the Fannie and Freddie escapades which plunged us into that housing caused recession.

Please don;t try to re-write historical events. There are too many records available.

thanks,

Zim:

I will grant you that liquidity withdrawn after the Y2K emergency fizzled adversely affected economic growth in 2000 and 2001.

Wingers are also in denial about how advantageous conditions were when Bush took office, despite the collapse of the Nasdaq bubble.

The Nasdaq ballooned in 1999 and collapsed in 2000. Hardly an economic tragedy compared to Bush and the boys driving our economy off a cliff.
