Hi!

Am home with mrs. micro now.
Surgery went very well and her new knee is a total success.

Only problem is she cannot tolerate codeine in pain meds so she has been gutting this with nothing more than two regular strength tylenols every 6 hours.

WOW!!!! No percocet, vicodin, oxycontin, anything like that.

ANyway, back to BAP and his folding.

I want him to use the 310.42 driver. But install only the driver, not all the other crap that nvidia has like High def audio for example.

ALSO here is an idea I wanted to run past you.

What about adding that flag about force gpu_fermi????

I know this card doesn't have fermi per se, but maybe he would get 15 core work units??????

That is what I was wondering..

What do you think? Can't hurt to try?

Thanks,

micro tending mrs. micro for several weeks.....

I'm hoping that may have got it. If not, go ahead with the ripout and driver install, but if you understood where I was coming from on the leftover stuff, you'll understand why we want you to now STOP after the re-install and re-boot BEFORE it again has a chance to misidentify your gpu and get stopped before it can get properly started.

You saw it identify your gpu as type 3 at 11:56, we want it to do it again without the leftover garbage as evidenced at 11:11 in the log.
