GM BAP --
Thank you for the methodical and extensive documentation, it allows somebody to determine that you're not doing anything wrong.
(at least not that this somebody can see anyway.)
What I CAN see is that it's still misidentifying your GPU type. Look at this guy with a 680, who's getting Core_16 and folding at a mile a minute and still complaining, lol. http://savepic.net/2592487.png
His is being identified as Gpu type 3, (as are my three later machines) yours is being identified as Gpu type 2. If you, me and that guy have the same Folding version (and we do), the proper flags/ additional parameters are in place (they are), and two of us are having their gpu class identified at least as high as f@h goes at the moment, and BAP's isn't, then what haven't we had BAP try yet?
Drivers. BAP, NVidia driver 301.42 is out of beta and by multiple reports behaves well with all NVidia cards, unlike many recent releases. This is actually my last idea at the moment, short of putting in XP as you had mentioned. Rip it all out once more, go get and install the 301.42 drivers and put re-install folding again just as you did it this morning. I know, we all oughta get medals for having to do all this, but somebody's got to be on the leading edge, and it's for science.
P.S. BAP, I keep my passkey in a text file, accessible from an icon on my desktop just for times like these. I've had enough of these little exercises that it's actually memorized and I can enter it in under 5 seconds and I just feel better knowing it's been done.
P.P.S. I shouldn't assume, so I'll ask. No other gpu card in that machine, right?
