Government is charged with taking care of our country.

Wall Street is charged with taking care of our markets.

No, KillTheCat,
The wall street scumbags were never charged with
'taking care of our country and our markets'.

Taking care of the country is the job of the
government - they are supposed to provide a
minimum amount of regulation over wall street.

The denizens of wall street are there to make money.
If stocks and bonds and such are 'traded' in a 'fair'
manner (properly regulated such that outright thieves
get guillotined) then we have a market whereby the
buying and selling of securities enhances the nations
economy and everybody can make money.

But make no mistake. Wall Street is there to make
money. Not to prevent idiots from being fleeced.

Zim.
