ktc,

re: "Computer and internet security in an international environment is a very complex issue."

This is the topic I am currently studying. I'm pursuing a CISSP (comparable in difficulty to a CPA) certification, hopefully this year.

And you are right. It's very complex. It's disturbing how vulnerable today's systems are. I've only seen the tip of the iceberg, but I think I could already hack into most systems.

I do *NOT* want the United Nations regulating the internet. It would, effectively, establish a 'Big Brother' with unAmerican values who could monitor and control every aspect of our lives.

We're headed in that direction anyway, but I want the slide to continue moving relatively SLOWLY.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

De;

Computer and internet security in an international environment is a very complex issue. Nobody has been able to scratch the surface of it. Scratched their asses, yes - found solutions or answers, no. It will have impact on our freedom to communicate, and to put systems on-line which has been the willy-nilly rage. It's amazing how restrictive a "secure" computer system must be.
