Can you imagine your first day on the job at the EU and somebody says get on a plane and fly to the King of Prussia and investigate a group of companies under a parent called Interdigital. Are they dangerous? We do not know. They have been pushing the big telephony companies around for close to forty years. They were run by a dry cleaner who had a body guard named Rip. When you get there, hang around until you hear a guy saying code words like "end of the day" and "best in class". Stay on this guy and monitor his every move. Should I get a new wardrobe and polish up on my manners in order to fit in where these high rollers go? I don't know, we have been trying to figure what they have done with all of the revenue they have bilked the phone manufacturers out of over the years. They appear to be a small cap company, but anyone who could bully European and Chinese manufacturers must be loaded with dough somewhere. Good luck to you and be careful that you do not get a tiger by the tail named Mr. Shay without wearing a wire and insuring back up is close buy.
Sorry folks, it just gets more amusing the more I read the Chinese version and the Interdigital version in the press releases today. It would seem to me that one would have to be worth at least 2 billion dollars before the EU would even undertake an investigation, but the older I get I realize the less I know about common sense.
