Yesterday here in far outer suburbia of Cincinnati, I observed gas prices jumped yesterday bu 35 cents per gallon. They went from 3.44 to 3.79 in less than a couple hours. Anybody else have the same thing in your neck of the woods? As I watch oil and gas prices on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange daily I knew nothing happened to the price of light sweet crude except it keeps dropping and is under $91./barrel Hence I could find no explanation for the big price increase other than sheer greed by the sellers of the stuff.
WHY is it over one dollar/gallon more than that today and oil is far less in price now than it was then? Do you hear the same tripe from your local news stations that the gasoline stations are only making a few cents per gallon????? Does anyone believe that? This out of the blue big jump in price can be attributed to only one thing, and that is pure greed by the sellers.
And of course they are not all in collusion either. The ONLY place that did not follow suit was Sam's Club where I filled up for $3.43/gallon. I fully expect them to jump prices no later than today as well. The American public is getting royally screwed by this industry and these thieves at gas pumps. They have a captive audience and are all in it together otherwise some smart seller would buck the trend and have ALL the business. I would just like to know if this goes on where you all live and anyone got any ideas as to what can be done about it? I am really getting fed up by these unscrupulous tactics. micro....
