Yes, it will keep my family alive. But it tastes lousy. A key part of survival prepping is to cycle the food, using it up and replacing it before it gets TOO old.
Using up the Costco food I bought has not been pleasant. On the other hand, it doesn't take up much space in my basement. There's something to be said for that.
