Hi doma,

Well, I think you have a different view of what science is than I do.

Science creates a body of explanations for things that are measurable.

It doesn't encompass everything.

Indeed, unexplained things represent opportunities to develop science.

The example you cite is curious for a variety of reasons. Not least that he was apparently dead for 1 1/2 hours. But even if the facts surrounding his case were true, you are still dealing with an unmeasurable, untestable example which could be explained in a variety of ways, one of which is that he experienced what he experienced and another is that he imagined what he experienced. How do you advance science with this?

That's because i truly believe it.........Smile

I am not saying every detail is correct,but the general themes
are........i read a couple of nights ago about a man who had
a near death experience,he wasn't religious so his experience
interested me......he had terminal brain cancer,lived his last
days in a hospice & made the unusual request of asking his
body be left alone for 6 hours after he died.....
So he dies......goes towards the "light" & sees a figure in front
of him,& asks "Are you God"........the figure replies "who &
what isn't god".........he has an interactive conversation with
what he later learns is his God-Self or Greater-Self.....he goes
through all his lives,sees angels & Jesus & all manner of
gods he has held as beliefs in his previous lives......he learns
that he gave himself cancer through his negative views of
himself & the world & describes how he is shown a "holographic"
view of the planet 400 years from now.......

In just a few short paragraphs he has confirmed many of
my beliefs.........he returns to his body 1.5 hours after dying
waking up having cured his terminal cancer & is alive today
some 20 years later.......

So how does the conventional view of medicine & your
belief system explain it......apart from not "believing" it?
