While I possibly could agree with that sentiment what I know for sure is that grandparents LOVE best.

ktc, the telltale sign that the grandkids still love their grandfather is that they will hug and kiss you!

You can never replace that and it is the joy of being a grandparent, as you already know.

You are ahead of me in the age curve so I have a lot to look forward to yet but I will relish and cherish this precious little one as long we can.

He is far away though, over 500 miles, so it means we have to make lots of short trips when I can get away from the plant.

Congrats to you on having such wonderful grandchildren who still love their grandfather even at their older ages! That is to be envied and desired! I hope mine still like me when they get that age! That is special!
