"I think the Constitution is an extraordinary document that should be followed to the letter.
And I think those without a vested interest in a community, have no business voting. This, by the way, is how the Founders intended it to be."

I disagree.

Nothing as important as the Constitution should stay static when there are many changes.

The Founding Fathers, were human & made mistakes.
Consider their stance on women & Blacks.
Blacks were not afforded the right to vote until 1869. Women couldn't until 1920.

Anyone living in a community HAS a vested interest.

re: "I know you by your deeds... And find them sick, twisted."

Understandable.

I work hard.
I give more than I take.
I believe all citizens should be treated equally by government.
I'm opposed to stealing.
I believe my property belongs to me.
I protect the defenseless when I can.
I want to choose for myself who I do, and do not, help.
I believe a person is innocent until proven guilty.
I want the accused to be fairly tried.
I want the convicted to be harshly punished.
I think the Constitution is an extraordinary document that should be followed to the letter.
And I think those without a vested interest in a community, have no business voting. This, by the way, is how the Founders intended it to be.

None of these are values you respect, so I'm not surprised you find them, and me, twisted.

But I think it bears noting that YOU aren't here telling us the values YOU hold. Are there any? Are any of them Constitutional?

The U.S. Constitution, I mean.
