Understandable alarm. But to suggest that the alarm is new is disingenuous. Democrats have known for a very long time that their POTUS can't win. I only have to think back to zzstar, crowing about how Obummer would win, then suddenly getting *VERY* quiet when I asked if he would care to put some money on what he'd just said.
Hah hah hah!! That was ROTFLMAO funny, wasn't it????
Yeah, you liberals talk like Obama might win, but you know full well that I'm right in calling him a big underdog. People have no respect for him, and in 3.5 years, he has no accomplishments to speak of. He didn't do any of the things he said he'd do in the inaugural address. He's supposedly a constitutional law expert, but I think we're about to learn that he couldn't produce a consitutional healthcare bill. And after spending five TRILLION dollars, unemployment in this country (the most important thing to him, in the inaugural) remains awful.
So, you folks know the truth. There's little Obummer can do now except to screw up Hispanic/Black relations and the sacrament of marriage, and HOPE that the resultant mob mentality somehow gets him reelected. That's the death rattle of a doomed, extremely poor leader, and Democrats can't help but hear it too.

But the shifts with women, moderates and independents are all statistically significant. Obama lost 5 points with each of those demographics.
