On May 11th (yesterday), I posted a Rasmussen poll showing Romney in the lead, 50 to 43 percent.

Today, Rasmussen says that Americans favor Romney over Obummer fifty to forty-TWO percent.

Obummer's freefall continues - which is remarkable given that, as clo discovered and was kind enough to post on FFFT, he had already lost such a huge portion of his female support from the 2008 election. What a change from the May 2nd poll I posted showing Obummer to be tied with Romney at 46%. Obviously, nothing he's done and said in the last ten days has gone right.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

On May 8th, I posted a Rasmussen poll showing Romney in the lead, 49 to 44 percent.

Today, Rasmussen says that if Ron Paul remains in the race, Romney will defeat Obummer FIFTY to 43 percent.

You'll remember that Ron Paul's presence was widely expected to hurt the GOP candidate more than Obummer. It doesn't seem to be working out that way...

Momentum continues to build for Romney.

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

RasmussenReports.com

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney earning 50% of the vote and President Obama attracting 43% support. Four percent (4%) would vote for a third party candidate, while another three percent (3%) are undecided.

Matchup results are updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update).

This is the first time Romney has reached the 50% level of support and is his largest lead ever over the president. It comes a week after a disappointing jobs report that raised new questions about the state of the economy.
