Ah, Dig ... the only critical (and that is "critical," not critcal) point is the one on top of your head.
These were primary elections for the express purpose of the recall election - Stage 1 of a two-stage process. If the Democrats and their union thugs are so terribly jazzed about the prospect of replacing Walker with one of their own, why did they not show up to vote in a hotly contested primary election to determine who their standard-bearer would be, eh? In the Republican primary, Walker, in fact, got more votes than both of the top two Democrat candidates combined!
It clearly shows:
(1) The recall petition signatures were obviously inflated with a whole lot of bogus signatures, and
(2) The level of enthusiasm for the recall has been way overly hyped by the leftists, which calls into remembrance that the last Wisconsin recall election was a bust for the Democrats and their union thugs.
Wisconsin is a long-time blue state that is just now turning differing shades of purple. As such, Phase 2 of the recall election promises to be close and hard-fought, but it is nonetheless quite appropriate to comment on the just completed and very revealing results of Phase 1 of the recall election in Wisconsin.
Cheers!
