Hi Dig, Which takes me towards my conclusion. The problem isn't religion or science. It is the purist's sense of virtue as something which can be derived one principle at a time. A principle that requires equality can be as wicked as one that demands religious orthodoxy. People who are not dangerous allow that principles modify one another and they are circumstantial. Virtue is a mongrel made from the issue of competing principles. This is also the story of Adam and Eve as I interpret it. |
