Well, that isn't a stupid argument. It was most famously used by a person called William Paley. He used a watch rather than a wall for his analogy, but it was the same one more or less.

Fortunately for me, I remembered Paley so I was quickly able to track down a discussion on wikipedia to save me from trying to do it, as my memory for the detail is hopeless.

Again, I'm a stone mason not a college proffessor. But I like to read. Isn't dna like an incredibly complex computer program? And isn't it neccessary for even the simplest forms of life? It's information. How did it organize itself? I know this will make me sound like a simpleton, for the most part I am one, but when I go for a walk in the woods here in New England and I see a stone wall, even a broken down badly made one, I know that a dead farmer put those rocks there even though I can't prove it.
