Again, I'm a stone mason not a college proffessor. But I like to read. Isn't dna like an incredibly complex computer program? And isn't it neccessary for even the simplest forms of life? It's information. How did it organize itself? I know this will make me sound like a simpleton, for the most part I am one, but when I go for a walk in the woods here in New England and I see a stone wall, even a broken down badly made one, I know that a dead farmer put those rocks there even though I can't prove it.

Why so?

He didn't know the exact mechanism, but for someone flying blind he did a pretty good job.

It's kinda the nature of evolutionary theory that it will change some. But the modern evolutionary synthesis is partly founded on his work on natural selection and partly on that of Gregor Mendel as I understand it. And again I understand that they are considered coherent.

Maybe I have missed something.
