Hi Micro --

Was the fermi flag coincidental to the shader boost? Just curious. Either way, that's waaaay more like it on the ppd, so that's good! Nail both those same things on the work machine, you've cured the 550ti already and man you'll be a-crankin' the way you had figured!

No problems only solutions. Mr. Green

I have struggled with this from day one. My PPD were about 5800 PPD on work unit 8019 with shader clock at 1820.

six minute and 12 second time frames.

That is awful output.

I just got a tad wild and decided to turn UP THE VOLTAGE and then jack up the shader clock to 2000!

Great! Time is now down to 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

PPD is up to about 13,500 PPD according to FAHSPY.

So, all I need to do now is check my other GTX460 at work and do the same thing and maybe we can get cranking again!

These work units are just miserable on these video cards for some reason. I even have the -force gpu_fermi flag installed to make sure that FERMI was being used.

The temperatures have shot way up from 49 degrees to about 85 degrees as a result of powering this up.

That's okay now that ArVee let me know it is okay to be in the 80's.

Let's give it a day and see how this goes.

Happy Sunday!
