Neighborhood doesn't seem to set up for him very well. At least with me he knows if he leaves me alone he will have a safe space. A year ago I watched another cat lose his battle under similar circumstances. I guess the question is whether it is better to be free and possibly die or to take your chances on being a shut-in.
