Hmmm tryagain, that has the feel of a parable. I think the rooster may be excessively curious of a hungry cat.

A third alternative is available to you. Which is to avoid the obligation. Hungry cats will usually find willing owners. Perhaps that cat needs no intervention from you.

For about a month now I have been watching a hungry cat try and make his daily meal. Yesterday, he was teased by a rooster who came to investigate him. I would feed him, but then I would have him forever and I have had my fill of such relationships. The alternative is to get him to a shelter. Perhaps Dig would like to pass judgment.
