I don't believe it was always like this. We'll have to wait till the next market crash to confirm or debunk my misgivings. In the meantime, I'm playing my cards very close to my vest, selling and hedging on every sign of trouble. A nuisance, not particularly profitable, but trying to avoid getting run over.
I wish they had told me what the payroll numbers were going to be so I could have sold early like the insiders did. Too late by the time the numbers were released to the public.
