The 460 in my office can;t seem to get anything other than 4671 units but it does them in 10.5 minutes per frame.

I finally this morning had enogh of the 460 at home and uninstalled the nvidia driver(s), because they want to add HD audio drivers, and other assorted junk I do not need. Got rid of all of it.

Then I downloaded an OLD driver, 266.58 after reading someone else having nightmares with their 460.

It works. I wasn't around long enough to see about the lag times in the video on the desltop and web surfing, but I THOUGHT it was folding at 100 percent when I tested them.

I will go home shortly and look again just to be sure.
The plant is only 4 miles from the house.

But I may have finally got that video card folding, maybe, hopefully.

It tends to run somewhat hotter than this one for some reason.

What kind of temps are okay for these GPU's anyway?

I try to keep them in the 60's but this one wants to run up into the 70's.

That is what I know so far. After going home and messing some more with it I should be able topost some resulting info from that.

But, THE driver 266.58 is what you want.

Google it. 266.57 nvidia driver. You will get a direct link to download it.

I have a similar scenario Micro, my GTX465 has not been producing like it should. Came home today to find it running, but with really low points for today. I found that I did not have MSI set to load at startup, and the GPU %age was jumping from 10-15% - uugh. Fired up MSI (after adding it to my startup folder, lol), restarted the GPU client, and I am off again.

Frame times were at 2+ hours on the current 7642 w/u, and are now back to about 10 1/2 minutes. My overall production is still down though, and I am not sure if it just these killer w/u's, or something else.....
