When I was just out of high school, I worked for Levine's Dept. Stores. It was a small chain of stores that has since gone bankrupt. As asst mgr I went to a meating in Austin with the store manager. That was at the store head quarters. At one meeting a black man gave a speech about minorities. I asked what the company was going to do for me. In Gallup, I was a minority. After a moment he laughed and said that I was, but never answered my question.
