Dan Rather. I did a good job of completely avoiding him for over four decades, as I early on developed a distrust and dislike for him.
At least forty plus years ago, he did an expose' on 60 minutes. On a subject I was VERY familiar with. It was painfully obvious that he was intentionally spinning the thing to mislead the generally "ignorant" audience.
A while later, another subject I was well versed on, and again Rather showing painfully biased reporting.
I never trusted him again and made it a point to NEVER watch CBS news while he was anchoring.
To each their own. Rather was certainly not one of mine. To this day I have no use for him.
