have been gone a long time ago. And the new guy does need to learn that something does need to change at Nokia and its called respect for IPR. But then again
he has been on the board since 2008.

Nokia Oyj (NOK1V)’s current strategy can turn around the business, said Risto Siilasmaa, who is set to become chairman of the Finnish mobile-phone maker today.
“I don’t think any new change is required as we are going through a transformation period already,” Siilasmaa, 45, said at a press briefing before the company’s annual investor meeting in Helsinki. A board member since 2008, he helped pick Chief Executive Officer Stephen Elop, who is replacing the company’s own smartphone systems with Microsoft Corp. (MSFT)’s Windows Phone.
Nokia is trying to rebuild investor confidence after losing its place as the largest handset maker to Samsung Electronics Co. The company hasn’t produced inexpensive smartphones that can compete with Google Inc. (GOOG)’s Android, 15 months after announcing the shift to Windows Phone. Nokia’s shares have dropped by two- thirds in that time. The board backs the current strategy and has faith in Elop and his team, departing Chairman Jorma Ollila said today.
