I used to have an uncle (Wesley) who shook all the time. He had what we called the DT's. It's associated with drinking, especially untax paid liquor which is sometimes made with an old automobile radiator as part of the condensing mechanism and thusly has a high lead content. They took Wesley to the doctor once and the doctor asked him if he drank a lot of whiskey. Wesley asked him, "How much is a lot?". The doctor says "Do ya drink a pint a day?" Uncle Wesley says, "Gawd, I spill more than that!".
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
