well, the argument - for what it's worth - is simply blind loyalty in disguise.
now is not the time, they say. but meanwhile the company's board and management will have their pay increases and nothing will be done about the private character of the company and the targets will be derisory if they exist at all and the bonuses will be automatic and the harbour will be unsafe and the dilution will continue and no one will take responsibility.
and hope will still exist as a useful phantom, just out of reach.
the wavoids forgot their outrage about what is and lost their courage about what might be because they were made to fear the consequence of holding the company to account for what it has done.
the paper tiger may stare, but it does not bite.
i for one am going to leave wave's most patient investors to their communal oath of loyalty on their own turf. they want a space for their unencumbered dreams. i think they should be permitted that.
i just don't share their opinions. if the company is listening, they will make changes to the communication structure rather than promises to do so. but my bet is that they simply plan to weather the storm and continue along as before.
