re: "Ron Paul and his supporters won’t go down without a fight."
I don't think they're going down at all. I think we're looking at the ascension of a decades-long TRIUMPH.
It is America's youth that Ron Paul is speaking to and reaching. Just as the youth of the '60s had its minds addled by drugs and socialistic/communal advocating gurus - a twisted mentality still plaguing us today, Ron Paul's message of FREEDOM (particularly, FROM GOVERNMENT) will resonate through this country for the next 50 years and, hopefully, undo most of the damage caused by the '60s generation.
It's obvious how much more influence Ron Paul has in 2012 than he had in 2008. What about in 2016? He may not be campaigning for himself, but I think he'll be campaigning. Perhaps 2016 will be the year his message wins and recaptures the Presidency.
It's been a hundred and fifty years since this country has had the sort of government that made it great... an incredibly SMALL government. It would be nice to see something along those lines return to the U.S. in my lifetime.
An AWESOME quote: Thanks
"I believe to fix our country, it will take work - but it doesn't take sacrifice. People say, 'Oh, to get over this, we all have to sacrifice.' If I return your liberty to you, give you the chance to work hard and keep what you earn, keep the government out of your life, out of your wallet, out of your bedroom, and leave you alone . . . that's NOT sacrifice." - Ron Paul
